To make these world famous cookies you will need:

-1 stick butter

-1 cup brown sugar

-1/2 cup white sugar

-2 eggs

-1 tablespoon vanilla

-1/2 cup flour

-1 teaspoon coarse salt

-1/2 teaspoon baking soda

-3 cups oats

-about 3/4 bag of chocolate chips

First, preheat your oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit, and cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar together in a mixer.  When they are creamed together but not to smooth add the eggs and the vanilla and mix them together until moderately smooth.

Next, in a medium sized bowl mix together the flour, salt, and baking soda with a rubber spoon/spatula and add to the mixing bowl.  Mix together until the same throughout.

Now, add the oats and chocolate chips to the mixer, and mix until evenly distributed.

Lastly, put small balls of the mixture onto a cookie tray and cook for 12 minutes, enjoy!
